Our Role

Jumpstart International is a support and coordination service. We are not a licensed immigration adviser and we do not provide immigration advice.

All New Zealand immigration advice, and the preparation and lodging of visa applications, is provided by the licensed immigration advisers we partner with, in accordance with the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007.

Our role is to guide you through the process, help you gather documents, keep you updated, handle the logistics, and connect you with the right licensed partner adviser. We do not give immigration advice, lodge applications, or represent you to Immigration New Zealand.

1. No Advice

Nothing on this website, and nothing said by Jumpstart staff, is immigration, legal, or financial advice. General information we provide is not a substitute for advice from a licensed immigration adviser.

Immigration rules change often. Always confirm the latest requirements on the official Immigration New Zealand website (immigration.govt.nz) or with a licensed adviser before acting.

2. The Partner-Adviser Relationship

When immigration advice or an application is required, we connect you with a licensed immigration adviser we partner with. Your advice and application relationship is with that licensed adviser.

The licensed adviser is bound by their own licence, the Immigration Advisers Authority code of conduct, and their own complaints process. Jumpstart International is not responsible or liable for the advice, conduct, or decisions of the licensed partner adviser.

3. Fees and Our Partner-Funded Model

Our coordination and support service, and the licensed partner adviser's advice and application support, are partner-funded. This means there is no charge to you for them.

You are still responsible for any Immigration New Zealand government fees, levies, and third-party costs (for example medical, police, or translation costs). These are not Jumpstart fees and are not covered by us.

We may change or end the partner-funded model in the future. If we do, we will tell you before you incur any cost, and you can choose not to continue.

4. No Guarantee of Outcome

Every visa decision rests solely with Immigration New Zealand. Neither Jumpstart nor the licensed partner adviser can guarantee that your visa will be approved.

Any success rate we mention reflects past results and is not a promise of any particular outcome. Processing times we mention are estimates only and are set by Immigration New Zealand, not by us.

5. Your Responsibilities

To help us and the licensed adviser assist you, you agree to:

• Give true, accurate, and complete information and documents.
• Tell us promptly if your circumstances change.
• Respond to requests and meet deadlines on time.
• Not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

You are responsible for the consequences of any false, incomplete, or withheld information, including any refusal, ban, or other action taken by Immigration New Zealand.

6. Eligibility to Use Our Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

7. Privacy and Sharing Your Information

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to us sharing your information, where relevant, with the licensed partner adviser, Immigration New Zealand, and any education providers or employers connected to your application, so your matter can progress.

8. Intellectual Property

The content, design, branding, and materials on this website are owned by Jumpstart International or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to third-party sites such as Immigration New Zealand, education providers, and employers. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jumpstart International is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services, including any act, advice, or decision of a licensed partner adviser or of Immigration New Zealand.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

11. Testimonials and Reviews

Testimonials on our website reflect the genuine experiences of individual clients. Individual results vary, and a past result is not a promise of a similar outcome for you.

12. Termination

You or we may stop using or providing the services at any time. If you have an application in progress with a licensed partner adviser, your arrangement with that adviser continues to be governed by your agreement with them.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page. By continuing to use our website or services after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
